2017 Summer Adoption Recruitment Event

Foster Friends, Louisiana Heart Gallery & Four J Photography came together with the Lafayette Region – Department of Children & Family Services (DCFS) to host a recruitment event held at the Kart Ranch in Lafayette, LA on June 9, 2017.

The children who have been freed for adoption and seeking a permanent home came to play arcade games, ride go-carts, and practice their baseball skills in the batting cages. While the children played, several prospective adoptive families observed and interacted with the children. This was a wonderful event to allow families to meet the children available for adoption.

The weather was great, and the event was definitely a success.
